Austria Week Review

This trip was very well priced and it was incredibly easy to deal with the contiki team to get all required documents in order. The only thing I would suggest is to have more options with the ski pass and to have the prices more explicit on the website. I really only wanted to snowboard for 4 days which I told the team a couple of times, however when we all went to get our passes they handed me the 6 day and told me they didn’t offer anything else. I only ended up snowboarding for 3 and a half days. Looking back I could have inquired more or gone through Hoptgarten directly, but I think some more choice would have made the trip absolutely perfect.

Resort primarily for advanced ski/boarders

A great week due to the unforgettable memories made! Very few blue runs so wouldn't recommend for first time ski/boarders - you have to travel 2hr round trip on gondolas to access villages with blue runs. Will try France next year. Staff knowledge on the resort was incredibly poor, one member of the team got us in severe danger through false information about accessing blue runs from the top of a mountain resulting in the police and mountain rangers getting involved since it was only black/red run access back down?!?

Other travellers great - don’t expect much from Contiki Staff though

Initial trip reasonably priced however all the add ons over priced. Seemed just an opportunity to get more money out of travellers.

Buying the trip when on sale is definitely the way to go. However, keeping in mind you're in one of Europe's biggest ski resorts so something will priced higher. Still, a very cheap option for an epic snowboarding holiday.

Brilliant week at Schöneck

The facilities were top notch and the extras, including lessons etc, were well organised and worth doing. The trip was expensive but I still feel like it was good value.

Austria Ski Only (meet us there) - 1 week

Overall the experience was great. The staff were very helpful, the accommodation was comfortable, food was good, and gear rentals did the job. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is a mix up during the pick up at Worgl and the fact that I had to end my trip early due to an injury and couldn't experience everything on offer.
