The trip was absolutely amazing, honestly one of the best holidays i have ever had. I had no expectations of contiki, they are a completely new company to me - i've done other tours in the past so i was just expecting similar experiences really.
The itininery was 2nd to none, and i couldn't fault the places we visited. Croatia has a country is beautiful and i do think we were in each place for the right amount of time considering the trip was only a week long, ideally i could have stayed for at least 2 weeks but thats me being selfish now.
The only little niggle i have is the add-on prices, they are a little high and some of the add-ons i feel should be included in the price you pay when booking for examples, the captain's dinner and the farewell dinner i feel should be included as they are critical part of the trip in my opinion, but also the BBQ lunch on day 2, considering we were at sail when we had this, if we didn't pay for it we would have not eaten until we arrived into Korcula later that day, and i think it should have been an actual BBQ too, or perhaps not advertise it as a BBQ lunch but just an additional croatian lunch on board.
Andrew, our trip manager was great, as the minority of brits on board i am super grateful to have been accompanied by a fellow british trip maanger, it made the trip that little bit better, as it was clear we had the same sense of humour and got along great, and i could 100% hang with him again!
Final mention for the 36 new contiki family members, I have never done a tour with so many people and I thought it was be incredibly overwhelming but I made it a mission of mine to learn everyones names and try make an effort with everyone on board even if groups started to form. I think I succeeded, and I very much hope my paths cross with 80% of the people I met again, makes it easy that the majority of them were from Australia and now thats a place to add to my bucket list.
Even with the cost, I would definitely travel with Contiki again - the trip was amazing and I have no regrets.
