Best experience ever. I was worried about going solo and it being my first time out of Australia but I really didn’t need to. I didn’t have a single bad day or time were I wasn’t loving the experience. It was fast paced and a little rushed at times but we fit in so many incredible experiences. My tour manager and driver were amazing and did everything they could to make our tour as incredible as it was. It was a perfect taste of what Europe had to offer and if I were to travel somewhere new like South America or Africa I’d definitely be looking into doing it with contiki.

Add ons were not too bad but,did not get taste of authentic food. For included dinners at the restaurant we did not receive a menu to select our meals! This was ridiculous....To enjoy the free time add ons you need to cut back on your free time in the cities. I could have planned and done the same things for the same cost or even lower with more time to spend and enjoy. Every where you stayed or went for activity, I checked the prices online and they were not even close to what Contiki was charging. Hotels were around€70-€90/night when searched.

We added few Free Time Add- Ons, however the timings were really bad. As the accommodations were far from city, we had to catch taxi so many time just so that we could make it to the coach to join everyone for free time add ons. Flamenco Show- there were heaps better shows in Barceloan than the one Contiki took us to. Plus the food was disgusting...again we got beef stew, was expecting spanish treat for that price! Hence, we stopped adding FTA's coz they were not worth it for the time you are given in every city. Contiki should have 2-3 pick up points from the city centre, lets be honest here. The cities are big, you dont know initially where you are and by the time you start exploring, its time to go back if you wanna catch the coach or pay easy 20-30 euros for the taxi/uber. Coaches should have some facility to buy water/snacks as sometimes we were driving for 4 hours without any stop over due to traffic. Rather than stopping at a service station for lunch when you driving between countries, how about Contiki chooses to stop at some restaurants or fast food chains. Service stations DO NOT have amazing food, plus they are so expensive. Did not make any sense to stop at a service station where you are not filling petrol, but just stopping for food, and the food was cold food and not hot every time.

Most of the accommodation was lovely but some were not and the extra expense for transport was on top -

This tour was the perfect length (although noone wanted it to finish at the end). You get to see all the big bucket list places around Europe and you get 2 nights in most major cities. The accommodations were nice and clean with a few nicer hotels along the way in Corfu and Switzerland. Definitely would recommend this tour to others! Best trip of my life!

There’s not a single thing to fault about this Contiki tour. By signing up, you should expect to see highlights of many parts of Europe condensed within a short period of time - and this is exactly what you get. The perfect taste for each country you visit and a variety of reasons to return in the future. This tour serves as the perfect introduction for anyone who hasn’t been to Europe and doesn’t even know where to begin. The variety of countries you visit, and the diversity of experiences make it beyond interesting. A full-on trip that actually has a holiday within a holiday when you visit Greece in the middle of the tour - perfect.

I'd really like it if we were given the information in regards to some sights that we may need to buy tickets online before we arrived at that destination. Eg If you wanted to go to Anne Frank's house in Amsterdam that we would be there on ** date so we could have the opportunity to purchase in advance online rather than missing out

There are really too many things to say about the European Panorama Contiku experience. Right from the beginning with booking the trip, the website provided so much information for each trip it gave me a great of the one I preferred most. The customer service over phone was excellent too, I wanted to ask extra questions about Contiki in general and they were able to help me very directly. It made the process a lot easier. On my trip I was looking for a great tour around Europe getting a taste of many foods, cultures, try different things, party a little too and that's exactly what I got. I also made some amazing friends on the trip and met some locals in many countries. Contiki prepare such an extensive itinerary which is just awesome. They also allow for a lot of free time which is perfect and making the experience feel a lot less like a school trip. Even if you weren't too sure what to do in your spare time, the guide offers many fun options so you never feel like your wasting time. The bus trips were always super fun. Whether we were being given a historical talk, watching movies, playing music, singing, or just left alone to recover from such an epic adventure from the previous day. Contiki is a must for all travelers seeking adventure and fun.
