Although Contiki is affordable, I think it would be possible to do it cheaper myself. Some of the add-on activities were also expensive, or should have been included as they knew that everyone would choose to do it regardless.

This trip is modular so I'd recommend doing the European trail instead so you don't have to leave mid trip. I extended on the road (by adding the western rocker) and had no regrets!

I didn't have to worry about breakfast, or traveling from one of the countries to the other, the accommodation was good, money well spent. Even the add-ons were reasonably priced and worth the money.

This trip put together basically everything I wanted to see in a short period of time in Europe at a good price. My only suggestion would be possibly including Florence as well - a group of us who were meant to be ending in Rome followed the coach to Florence and absolutely loved it.

Amazing trip. Just wish we knew it was apart of a larger trip when booking as I would’ve done the larger trip

The trail to Rome is a great way for people to get a little taste of each country. It was definitely worth the money. The free time add-ons were amazing and make the trip even more exciting. Don’t be itimidated by the word hostel, they were great and worth the money!

Loved this tour! Being my 3rd tour, i knew what to expect from Contiki, but this tour was above and beyond. Ryan and Rasto were absolutely amazing, and made this trip a breeze. I have made many friends for life, and even better memories and stories to tell. My advice if you want to travel with contiki, is to have no expectations, have an open mind and you wont be disappointed. Cant wait to book the next one **

Almost meals were covered or part of an extra add on. So you had dinner with your travelmates most nights. Transportation was always clean entertainment and on top. Hostels stays were great to good enough. Everyone of them add on's were worth it. For example salt mines were an amazing experience that I would have never thought of to do on my own.
