Hey,
I’m going traveling for approx 4 months and I’m a nurse so I am having trouble cutting down the size of my first aid kit. … The “just incase” exucse keeps coming in with most things. What have most people taken os when going for extended times?
I even bought myself a ‘basic first aid kit’ to see what is “basic” but couldn’t help but add more things to it!
Any suggestions?
Thanks. Mel ![]()

The prices on the website for Australia are more expensive than what I just paid. For example, I paid $1400 for Bridge to Reef trip instead of $1800 (without quad-share or former traveler discount). It seems like these changes are recently in the new brochure. I wonder when the website will change its info . . .

Going on the European Whirl August 11th-28th, 2008. We arrive in the morning of August 8th. Hopefully I can get some sleep crossing the Atlantic. Regardless, are there any suggestions of must-do things in London? I’ve always wanted to go there, but we’re limited with only a few days. There are the obvious suggestions, but I’m really looking at obscure things to do. All suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Hi
Has anyone done the spanish spree trip in the winter? How was it? I’ve decided to go in feb. and I will be travelling by myself. I’ve been to europoe lots and even lived there for a bit but have never been to Spain. I think the winter itinerary is different and if anyone has tips on how to pack for the weather that would be great! ![]()

What is the best type of clothing to bring, I know people say to bring tops that can mix and match with bottoms, because of the weight restriction. Did you ever wear the same top twice? And what about dressy clothing and shoes for the nights out?10th May 2012
I would like to do the GRAND SOUTHERN leaving 5 July 2008, but I’m not allowed to go when I’m the only one from Belgium in the group. Because we have to go on our own to LA I’m looking for someone who does the same trip so we can maybe book the same flight.

Hi there. I just picked up my intinerary and travel documentation from contiki for my Euro Escapade tour departing Sept 13. i was reading my documentation and it said for my tour, i will be needing to bring a sleeping bag and a day bag for the overnight stops?
my travel agent told me that i didn’t have to bring a sleeping bag.
also, the day bag, i thought the bus would drive us to our hotel, unload our suitcases and we’d bring them to the hotel room and use them, as suppose to me taking out clothes i think i will wear, plus toiletries and carry them in a bag seperate from the bag i’ll carry with me throughout the day to keep my documents in and maybe a water bottle and a pack of gum
i’m a bit confuded. right now, i’m seeing it as me bringing 1. my suitase 2. my carry on bag 2. a sleeping bag 4. a day bag for overnight stops and 5. my water and pack of gum bag.
please tell me i’m wrong as this is A LOT to be carrying. i’m trying to travel light

Hi
Im looking to head to Europe in June 10’ I know its a long way off but I like to plan early… Im looking at encounter and road to Athens…. I like encounter as its does Amsterdam but I also like road to Athens as its includes the Greek Islands. I was thinking more towards the Road to Athens and just spending a couple of nights in Amsterdam myself as I’m already planning to spend a couple of days in London before the tour starts. Anybody have any suggestions.
Thanks

So I’m going on the Euro Discovery on 6/20 and we will be going to Italy. Does anyone know of any good opera house that I can go to? Or if it’s even possible to do something like this. I’d like to see an opera in Italy.
