Write or Create For Us

Become a community creator

Our community features are created for and written by you. We want to give you the opportunity to share your travel stories and have your work published for a global audience of travel hungry readers.

If you’ve ever dreamed of a career as a travel writer, photographer or videographer, this is your chance to take those first steps. You don’t need an English degree, you don’t need an expensive camera or a one way ticket around the globe; you just need passion, drive, and talent.

What kind of content are we looking for?

We want stories, unique insider guides, travel hacks, and inspiration from around the world. We love words, photos, and especially videos – and most of all we love content we haven’t read a million times before. So, if you’re a stickler for grammar, know how to string a sentence together and want to share your passion for travel with the world, we want to hear from you.

We also want our platform to be as diverse as the world we explore. That’s why we think it’s vital to surround ourselves with different voices offering different experiences, perspectives and viewpoints. To better serve and reflect our global audience, we’re always seeking more stories from under-represented communities. Opinion pieces to inspirational travel stories and advice features – we want to hear your voice.

What’s in it for you?

In a word – opportunity. As well as looking pretty decent on a CV, getting your work published also means you automatically go into the running to win travel with Contiki. Every three months we reward the contributor who creates the biggest buzz with a Contiki trip, plus flights. If your work if published on six-two, it will also be amplified across Contiki’s channels. You’ll get access to chats and feedback with the six-two Editor, to help propel your writing or content to the next level.
