Could someone recommend which would be better, considering my age: 34. What are the major differences between Concept & Timeout tours? I know these two tours are almost the same. Which is better value for money.

Hey guys,
I am doing the European Adventurer on the 10 August – 16 Septemeber so it will be the hight of summer in Europe but the temperatures don’t seem to be that hot in the Northern European countries.
What kind of clothes should i pack? I am thinking it is going to be hot in the southern european area but places like germany and paris (at this time of year) would you still be wearing pants? or just more like shorts and a cardi??
Thanks

Just curious as hotel reviews on tripadvisor.com lead me to believe that many of the hotels in London do not offer the option of checking bags in (via a bell hop) prior to romm check-in and also on the other end, it appears they do not/can not hold your luggage after you check-out until you leave for the airport. Does anyone know if this is factual? My flight gets in at 6am and if check-in it not until 2pm, is there any place I can store my luggage while I walk around the city?

I’m doing the Cairns and the Sunshine trail (reverse) ending in Brisbane, then spending a few days on my own there. Where does the bus drop you off in the morning when the tour ends?

Hi guys,
I’ve booked a trip to go on the Grand Southern Adventurer tour in september 2007. I have been booked for September 17th till September 29 starting in Christchurch, but now this is not listed on the website even though I have been given assurances from my travel agent and contiki that it is still going ahead. I do see one for the 18th till the 29th however, but its a reverse tour. Does anyone know what is happening???

I’m planning on doing one of the European trips in the near future. Is April a busy time to go, or is it better to wait for the summer?

I am completing a tour hopefully in 2009 as well as my own travels and i was wondering for those of you who have climbed the stairs of the Eiffel Tower..
1. Is it hard? Because I dont want to have aching muscles for the rest of my trip?
2. How long does it take and is it more worthwhile than just taking the lift?
Thanks!
