Is it better to arrange your air travel with contiki or is it cheaper finding a flight on your own??

Hi all,
My partner and i will be in Las vegas for 5 nights late April and just trying to gather advice on whether or not to go to the Grand Canyon ? Is this a must do considering how close we are ????

I was hoping if anyone can provide info of some places in thailand they reccommend to visit before or after the tour. For instance are there any nightclubs, massage or spa places, shopping districts, theme parks, specific restaurants and anything not mentioned that anyone would suggest?

Hi all, were 2 songwriters from South Africa, who have been asked to come to LA to record a song or two which is gonna be great. the record company is only putting us up for 5 nights but wed love to stay on and party in LA! can anyone recommend a good base? also were travelling on South African Rands, not the strongest currency in the world? please send some advice to the dark continent. A friend and I have finally decided which tours we will do, and what dates. We will do Med. Highlights departing May 25, and then Eastern Road departing June 9. Thing is, the Med Highlights tour is a guaranteeed departure, but the Eastern Road isn’t. What are the odds that this tour will get cancelled? I have to be back by the end of June, and it wasn’t possible to get 2 guaranteed departures.

Im sure there’s plenty of old threads relating to this but couldn’t find any when I had a look…
Im looking at doing the 21 day camping trip next year & was just wondering what would be better, Back Pack or Suitcase?
I did a Timeout tour a couple of years ago & took my suitcase but im thinkin that may not be a good idea for camping?
Also can anyone recommend any good brands of back packs?

I am looking into buying a backpack, and was just wondering if anyone has some tips or essentials of a backpack. I have tried some on and have narrowed down to a few, but I would like to find a good deal online. Anyone know some websites?

Hi just posted on the meeting forum for this tour but it looks pretty quiet – I’ve nearly booked myself on this tour but am a little apprehensive as I’ll be travelling along & this will be my first time doing so – anyone got any words of wisdom / encouragement?!

Hello everyone! I’m headed for the Simply Italy tour next month and I’d like to know where the best places, what the best items (I don’t wanna give postcards, I’m thinking more of refrigerator magnets or keychains) are for cheap souvenirs as I need to buy around 30 for my coworkers alone. Thanks.

Hi all,
my partner and I are looking at doing a trip through Europe with Contiki bust we are stuck on which tour to do, either the Best of Europe tour or the European Discovery tour. Any ideas as I have found lots of comments on the Discovery tour but none on the Best of tour, which i think is only new, about 2 years maybe??

HEY GUYS, JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS WHEN THE NEW ‘08-’09 EUROPE TIME OUT BROCHURE COMES OUT? I HAVE BEEN TOLD SEPT BY SOME OCT BY OTHERS AND EVEN NOV AND NOW I DONT KNOW WHAT TO BELIEVE!!! I WANT TO TRAVEL NEXT YEAR IN MAY SO I AM DYING FOR THE NEW BROCHURE TO GET NEXT YEARS DATES ETC. THANKS!

My boyfriend and I will be traveling together on the European Highlights tour (June 9, 2009) and I as wondering if we should expect to be split up often when it comes to sleeping accommodations? When we booked the trip we paid for twin share but we were told that because this is a budget tour, we may be put in a quad or triple share at some points or otherwise split up. Obviously I expect we will be split up in the hostel, but otherwise how would we be paired up? Would we be in a quad with another couple or would we be split up by gender?
