OMG! Please someone pinch and punch me just to make sure i am awake and not living a dream.
I am booked on the WW tour starting on 19th March 08, will be arriving in LA on the 17th March at some point think it’s 2200 in the evening so by the time i get thru customs i might get to the motel by midnight lol…… and sleep the next day away with jetlag 
Anyhow’s if anyone else is planning this tour love to hear from you, I’m from Australia and will be travelling solo. Even if your not going on this tour and have information about anything love to hear your thoughts all help will be gratefully accepted.

Hey there all
I am going on the Scenic southern leaving 29th March 07 from Wellington.
I am travelling by myself and I thought it’d be cool to make contact with anyone going on the same trip.
Also if anyone that has been got any definate recomendations for Queenstown optionals as there are so many. Ive been told jetboat, skydive and handgliding all great from a friend who went a couple of years ago.
And if anyone else wants to tell me an other tips or cool stuff please do.

Hey everyone!!! Im going on the Wild Western trip and just have a quick question for anyone who has been.
How long are you on the coach for in one go? Does the coach make regular stops (ie for the toilet) I have the weakest bladder ever so just need some reassurance that im not going to be stuck on a coach with no stops.

anyone with experience with either optional excursion care to dish? i’m wondering if it’s worth forking the cash out for both or not.

hey im doing the ultimate european next year with the egypt option… and i was wondering about clothes i should wear.
i know i should be respectable but iv seen pictures of girls in dresses and short shorts. could i get away with something like that or would i get in trouble. im normally a short dress kinda girl

Hi everyone, was just wondering, without sounding insulting how old everyone on the trips are, must be so interesting to get lots of different ages together. I’m 19, be 20 when i travel. Or if anyone thats been before, the contrast in ages? no offence meant to be caused!

Hey guys, I’m doing the Wild Western in April 7, 2010 for the first time, and just wondering how many people are usually in a group?
1 full coach roughly? Also from what i hear is some other groups join us as well that are doing the other tours

Hi, I want to go on another Contiki in the next year or so. I’m wondering what is the best time to go to Europe. I am luck to be a teacher so I do get some time off. I have all of June and July off as well as a week for spring break and sometimes close to two weeks for Christmas. Just wondering if any Americans have ever gone on a tour at different times of the year and what was the best time: spring, winter or summer? (During the fall I have no breaks. If it helps any, I will only be able to go on the shorter tours..between 10-15 days….20 woudl be pushing it….
I’m thinking about either going on:
London Paris
London Paris Rome
London Paris Amsterdam
Simply Italy
Road to Athens

Hi, I am doing a 14 day European tour which commences 02 April 2010 and is starting from London & then stopping in Paris/Florence/Rome/Venice/Munich/Amsterdam and then back to London on the 16th April 2010. Anyone else doing this trip?
I will be staying at the Royal National Hotel. The following day after getting back to London I plan to fly back out to Munich and was wondering if anyone could tell me what is the best way to travel from the hotel to Gatwick Airport. Im happy to travel by the tube but can anyone give me directions on which train station to get on to get to the airport. Thanks

is 14 days really enough to see europe? do u feel like your getting anything out of the trip? i mean, is it like your being rushed to go here and meet there? i guess what im trying to ask, is it worth it?

It’s my first time on a contiki tour, I’m normally used to backpacking etc, so just wondering if a sleeping bag is mandatory?

Now i know in summer the greek islands like mykonos and ios have some insane nightlife but how about in september or october when the weather is a bit cooler, how is the party scene at that time of year? I am thinking of the london to paris with the greek island hopping extension but dont want to have to limit myself to the summer months to experience the famous nightlife!

I posted this on the Inspiration page too but I am freaking out and am trying to get an answer. I booked this trip about a month ago and just looked at my confirmation papers and realized they booked me on IMPRESSIONS and not INSPIRATION. Does anyone know if I would be able to switch it to Inspiration this late? I’m really frustrated over all of this since I have booked this trip around my work schedule and specifically chose Insp. because it had Prague and Rome on the itinerary and Impressions does not. I have to call tomorrow to see if I can work this out. I just can’t believe they booked me on the wrong trip! Anyone else have a similar problem? Thanks!

Leaving for european discovery Sun and I started packing. I know there are already posts about washing cloths which say to wash your cloths in the sink. Thats fine if its the small stuff like underware etc…but what about jeans and capris. I am afraid they wont dry in time.
Will my TM tell me where I can wash my cloths?
What about the hotels I stay in will they be able to wash my cloths?
