Conflict in the Middle East – Update as of 5 March 2026

We are deeply saddened by the situation currently unfolding in the Middle East. Our thoughts are with all those affected.

At Contiki, the wellbeing of our guests and team members is always our highest priority. We are closely monitoring developments and continue to assess the situation carefully, drawing on guidance from our local teams on the ground, as well as official government travel advisories.

Contiki does not operate tours in Israel, Iran, the UAE or Qatar. All tours to Jordan departing up to and including 31 March 2026 will be suspended. Any guests booked on the affected departures will be contacted by us directly in the next few days about their options for rescheduling or alternative travel destinations.

Our Egypt tours continue to operate as planned.  If you are due to travel to Egypt between now and 31 March 2026 and would prefer to change your trip, please contact us to discuss the options available to you.

All other worldwide tours continue to operate as planned. If your tour departs on or before 31 March 2026 and your flights route through Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Doha and would prefer to change your trip, please contact us to discuss the options available to you.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will update this guidance should circumstances change.

Middle East Travel Update, 4th October 2024

Israel Travel Update, 22 August 2024

We at Contiki are shocked and saddened by the ongoing situation in Israel and Gaza and our thoughts are with everyone in the affected area.

Based on what is happening in the region, we have taken the decision to suspend our operations in Israel until further notice.

We continue to monitor the situation closely and will be in touch with any impacted travellers due to travel before this date.

Any travellers booked on the affected departures will be contacted by us directly in the next few days about their options for rescheduling or alternative travel destinations.

Please note that the suspensions affect Israel only and our tours in Egypt and Jordan continue to run as scheduled.
