Referral Program Eligibility: The Contiki Referral Programme is available to Contiki Referral Programme members (guests who have travelled at least once with Luxury Gold, Insight Vacations, Trafalgar, Brendan Vacations, Costsaver and Contiki who are 18 years and over (“Brand Referee”). Travel Agents, TTC Employees and affiliated contractors are not eligible to participate.

Referee Credits: Referee Credits are earned in the currency of the website the Brand Referee refers from. Amounts are: $100 USD, $100 CAD, $100 AUD, £75 GBP, $100 NZD, $100 EUR, R1,500 ZAR. Referee Credits are only earned when a referred person has not travelled on any Luxury Gold, Insight Vacations, Trafalgar or Costsaver tour and books and pays for a tour in full (either direct or via a travel agent). Only one Referee Credit may be earned per booking. There is no limit to the number of new guests a Brand Referee can refer. Credits are valid for 24 months from the date a referee booking is paid in full and expire on a rolling basis if unused for 24 months. Brand Referee Credits are combinable with all other savings and promotions. Credits are not redeemable for cash.

Referee Savings: When a Referee receives notification that they have been referred by a Brand Referee, they will receive Referee Savings to the amount of $100 USD, $100 CAD, $100 AUD, £75 GBP, $100 NZD, $100 EUR, R1,500 ZAR. The currency of the savings is based on the currency of the booking. Discount only applies for customers who have not yet travelled on any Luxury Gold, Insight Vacations, Trafalgar, Brendan Vacations, Costsaver and Contiki tour. Referee Savings can be redeemed on new or existing direct or travel agent bookings that have not yet been paid in full. The Referee Savings are limited to one per person and is valid for 12 months from date of referral. Referee Savings are combinable with all other savings and promotions except the Contiki Referral Programme Past Guest discount.

Restrictions: Referee Credits and Referee Savings are valid only on Luxury Gold, Insight Vacations, Trafalgar, Brendan Vacations, Costsaver and Contiki guided tours and are not redeemable on group allocations or special group booking types. Referee Credits can only be redeemed on tour product and cannot be used in lieu of a deposit, are not transferrable for cash and cannot be used for any ancillary products. All applicable discounts are applied sequentially; fixed savings amounts are deducted prior to applying any percentage-based discounts. Other restrictions may apply. TTC Tour Brands reserves the right to amend or terminate the Contiki Referral Programme at any time.

Brand Advocate:

A Past Guest who refers a future traveller that hasn’t travelled on any Luxury Gold, Insight Vacations, Trafalgar, Brendan Vacations, Costsaver or Contiki tour before.

Advocate Credit:

The travel credit a Brand Advocate receives for referring a new customer once that new customer has paid for their tour in full. 

Advocate Code:

The unique code received once a Brand Advocate first earns Advocate Credits. This code must be used or quoted when the Brand Advocate is ready to book using their Advocate Credits or wants to check their Advocate Credit balance.  

Referee:

A customer who is referred to a Luxury Gold, Insight Vacations, Trafalgar, Brendan Vacations, Costsaver or Contiki tour by a Brand Advocate. They must be a first-time traveller and not have travelled on any Luxury Gold, Insight Vacations, Trafalgar, Brendan Vacations, Costsaver or Contiki tours . 

Referral Savings:

The savings a Referee will get when they book their first tour with Luxury Gold, Insight Vacations, Trafalgar, Brendan Vacations, Costsaver or Contiki.

What is the Contiki Referral Programme?

The Contiki Referral Programme allows a past guest of Luxury Gold, Insight Vacations, Trafalgar, Brendan Vacations, Costsaver or Contiki to become a Brand Advocate and refer friends and family onto Luxury Gold, Insight Vacations, Trafalgar, Brendan Vacations, Costsaver or Contiki tours to earn Advocate Credits.

Who is eligible to be a Brand Advocate? 

Any Past Guest of Luxury Gold, Insight Vacations, Trafalgar, Brendan Vacations, Costsaver or Contiki who is aged over 18+ years is eligible to be a Brand Advocate and refer friends or family to earn Advocate Credits. Travel Agents, TTC Employees and affiliated contractors are not eligible to participate.

What do I earn as some who has been referred? 

You will receive Referee Savings of $100 USD, $100 CAD, $100 AUD, £75 GBP, $100 NZD, $100 EUR or R1,500 ZAR via a promo code (the amount is based on the currency of the country you make your booking). They can put this towards a new or existing Luxury Gold, Insight Vacations, Trafalgar, Brendan Vacations, Costsaver or Contiki booking that has not yet been paid in full. Only one Referee Savings promo code can be applied to a booking at any given time, however, the discount will apply to each new customer on the booking (i.e. customers who have not travelled with Luxury Gold, Insight Vacations, Trafalgar, Brendan Vacations, Costsaver or Contiki before). The Referee Savings are combinable with all other savings and promotions except the Contiki Referral Programme Rewards Past Guest discount. No blackout dates apply. You MUST use the Referral Savings promo code on your booking in order for the person who referred you to earn Advocate Credits. 

Do Referee Savings expire? 

Yes, Referee Savings expire 12 months after they have been received. You can only use one unique Referee Savings promo code per booking.

How many Referral Savings promo codes can I use on a booking? 

Only one Referral Savings promo code can be applied per booking, however, it will validate for all new customers on the booking. For example, If there are 3 new guests on the booking and one past guest, the Referral Savings unique code will be applied for the 3 new guests and the past guest can apply their Contiki Referral Programme Rewards Past Guest 5% discount.   

 

How do I book using my Referee Savings? 

When you’re ready to book a tour, you can add your Referee Savings promo code into the promo code field when booking online or quote your unique code when you call us and speak to our Contact Centre team. Your preferred Travel Agent can also do this for you. 

I haven’t travelled with any of the participating brands before, but I do have an existing booking that I have not yet paid for in full. Can I use my Referee Savings?

Yes you can! When you want to apply your savings to an existing booking that has not yet been paid in full, you must call our Contact Centre team to apply the promo code. Simply quote your unique code over the phone. Your preferred Travel Agent can also do this for you.

I received an email saying that I had been referred and had savings available in one currency, but I live in another country.  Can I still book with the unique code?

Yes you can use your unique promo code to book as the savings will apply in the booked local currency. 

I received an email with Referee Savings from one brand but I want to book on a different brand. Can I do this?

Absolutely! The best part about our Contiki Referral Programme is that your unique Referee Savings promo code can be applied on any Luxury Gold, Insight Vacations, Trafalgar, Brendan Vacations, Costsaver or Contiki tour, regardless of the brand you might have been initially referred from. As long as you’re a new customer to the brands, you can book using the unique savings code.

I want to travel with my friend but they have travelled with the company before. Can I still book with them and get my Referee Savings? 

Yes, your Referee Savings will apply to your portion of the booking. If a Past Guest on the same booking also wants to apply their Past Guest 5% discount, they can do so but it will only apply to their portion of the booking.
