Gift Cards can be purchased via a Travel Agent or through our Direct Team. Gift Cards do not have to be redeemed via the same channel as initially purchased, (i.e. If the Gift Card is purchased via a Travel Agent, the traveller can redeem the Gift Card via Contiki Direct or via a different agency and vice versa) conditions apply*. Trade Sold Gift Cards redeemed via Contiki Direct*; the traveller must be asked if they are happy to deal with the original gift card selling agent for new trip bookings. Gift Cards are valid up until the traveller turns 36 years old. Gift Cards cannot be partially redeemed. Valid for New Zealand bookings only. Not valid for payment of Free Time Add Ons. The Gift Card is valid to use with Contiki until the traveller turns 36 years old, in line with Contiki’s age limit. For travellers age 36 and above, Gift Card can be re-gifted. Gift Card can be re-gifted to family or friend; however written consent from the original recipient must be received by Contiki before the Gift Card can be redeemed. If traveller redeems a Gift Card/s and subsequently cancels, you will need to check the Traveller’s date of birth in order to validate if the Gift Card has expired. Travellers will still qualify for FlexDeposit if charged minimum loss of deposit. If traveller rebooks using Gift Card and is subsequently affected by a withdrawn tour, the redeemed gift card value will be credited back to the original Gift Card Booking. On a case by case basis, a refund would be considered by the Contiki.
