What deposit do I need to book a 2027 trip?

  • A $200 deposit per person is required to confirm your Contiki trip booking. Your deposit is due at the time of booking.
  • The $200 deposit applies to the land tour deposit only and excludes any additional deposits, such as Inca Trail permits or flights if applicable.
  • When is full payment due?
  • Full payment is required 60 days before travel.

Can I pay in instalments?

  • Yes. Once your deposit is paid, you can pay off your trip in as many instalments as you like.
  • Your full trip balance must be paid 60 days before departure.

Can I change my 2027 trip?

  • Yes. You can change your booking as often as you like up to 60 days pre-trip.
  • If you switch to another departure date or a different Contiki itinerary, the full amount of your original deposit will be credited to that new booking. Any difference in trip price will still apply.

What happens if I cancel?

  • If you cancel before final payment is due, your $200 deposit will be retained as FlexDeposit and can be transferred to another trip for free.
  • Any amount paid above the deposit may be refunded, subject to Contiki’s Booking Conditions and any additional non-refundable costs that apply to your booking.
  • If you cancel after final payment is due, cancellation fees will apply as outlined in Contiki’s Booking Conditions.
