LAOS

Citizens of South Africa residing in South Africa have to apply for a visa to Laos in person at the nearest consulate of Laos in South Africa. Please note that the application procedures and fees may vary depending on where you apply. If there is no consulate of Laos in South Africa there might be a consulate of Laos in one of the neighboring countries that covers the jurisdiction of South Africa. 30-days tourist Visa issued upon arrival for US$30.

CAMBODIA

Cambodia Citizens of South Africa residing in South Africa have to apply for a visa to Cambodia in person at the nearest consulate of Cambodia in South Africa. If there is no consulate of Cambodia in South Africa there might be a consulate of Cambodia in one of the neighboring countries that covers the jurisdiction of South Africa. 30 days visa issued on arrival.

THAILAND

SA Passport holders do not require a visa for a stay not exceeding 30 days. For visits longer than 30 days but not exceeding 60 days, the visa can be applied for at the Thai Embassy in Pretoria. Processing time is 3 – 4 working days.

Requirements 

• Valid passport
• One application form
• Two passport size photo’s
• Copy of air ticket and detailed itinerary required from a travel agent
• An invitation letter from host in Thailand or proof of hotel booking is required
• Confirmation of employment of enrolment in college or university is required
• Proof of funds is required

VIETNAM

Visas are required by SA passport holders. Processing Time is 7-10 working days.

Requirements 

• Valid passport
• One application form to be completed in duplicate by each applicant. One application form is submitted to the embassy and the other is handed to the border police on arrival in Vietnam.
• Two per person per application. (4cm x 6cm)
• Copy of itinerary from Travel Agent required.
• For business applications, same as above requirements as well as a letter of invitation faxed from the Vietnamese Company. A letter from the SA company is also required.
