I had a good time on my Turkish Sailing holiday, but there were a few areas that were lacking the usual Contiki flair.
Starting off with the good points:
The crew were excellent, friendly and professional and they made sure we were looked after.
The group were amazing! We had a great time getting to know each other and we were all very sad to see each other go at the end of the trip! :(
The boat was nice, the accommodation was basic but tidy and comfortable.
The food was nice, again pretty basic, but fresh and tasty (lots of fish though!).
The weather was fantastic all week and the areas we stopped at had really lovely water to swim in.
And the bad points:
The boat didn't dock in a port every night (which was what I was expecting), so lots of time spent on the boat.
The excursions were mediocre and of questionable value for money, a couple of them were tourist traps so you'd spend more money.
All in all the trip itself was good value for money and I had a nice relaxing time which was the main reason I booked the holiday.
