The best national park to visit depends on what you’d like to see. Wanna check out wildlife? Then a hike in Cahuita National Park, Costa Rica (where you’ll see sloths IRL) or the Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda (to see Gorillas!) are great choices. Craving breathtaking views of mountains and waterfalls? Then Jasper National Park in Canada, or Plitvice National Park in Croatia are your best bet.

Lots of national parks offer easy and accessible hikes. For example, lots of the viewpoints in the Grand Canyon National Park are just a short, flat walk from where you get dropped off.
