This trip has been life changing! Being able to see that many places in that much time with so much ease was amazing. Our trip manager, Stacey and our driver, Gus were incredible and our trip would not have been the same with out them. I have made life long friends and memories I will never forget. If anyone is thinking about doing a contiki, stop thinking and just book. It will change your life.

European Adventurer was by FAR the best decision I made for myself. I had many other friends travel through contiki and they considered I try it for myself. I chose this trip as a grad school gift for myself and it was amazing! Everything that is planned for the most part is fair timing - you receive a lot of info and free time to explore while also indulging in culture and making/ meeting new people. There are some countries I wish we had more time like one more day in Barcelona and Croatia was amazinggggg!!!! Greece, Italy, Switzerland, Austria - they’re all so amazing and some of my favorites! There are lots and lots of carbs so you’re bound to gain weight but **** it, enjoy it! Lol Izzy was our tour manager and she was literally an angel sent from heaven. Very upbeat, positive, silly, humble, supportive ; everything you basically need in a person and friend when one is so far away from home! She was AMAZING at her job and literally knew everything and could help with anything you needed. Ryan was our bus driver and so sweet and awesome! Be mindful to respect these people as they are doing so much for us and respect your bus as well. You’ll be on it sometimes traveling for hours and it’s basically your own little getaway car without having to drive so be grateful and mindful. Tips I would give is if you’re doing summer - bring slot of flowy dresses or rompers because it’s sooooo Hoyt. Comfy Sandals, sneakers and flip flops. Don’t overload on clothes cause sometimes if elevators break down , there’s stairs and you carry your own ****! I luckily only got sick once but you are bound to get the CONTIKI COUGH and yes **** is real so load up on meds. Have headphones/ books/ hands on games for long rides and random nights. Sun block and bug spray! And Have fun, who cares if there’s no WiFi all the way time - indulge in the moment, look out for your group as they are your family in such a short time and live your best life! Loved my team, my manager and my driver! So happy I did this!

Too much emphasis on alcoholism, not enough cultural experiences and the trip didn’t pre book enough.

I’m mostly rating the trip five stars due to the enthusiasm and support provided from the trip manager throughout the trip. 37 days is a super long trip, so at times it was emotional and tough with sickness and different challenges etc. Izzy (our manager) was fantastic during those difficult times and provided each and every individual with the time and encouragement that was needed. The other great component was how close the group were with each other by the end of the trip. I believe this occurred from participating in add on activities with each other and having the dinners and nights out together. Some improvement could be accommodation conditions, such as in Zadar, however this is knowing every place can not be perfect given it is a longer trip.
