The coach on this trip was one thing that I was completely surprised by. It was spotless, spacious, had a toilet and charging stations, and was surprisingly comfortable as far as coaches go. I get travel-sick quite easily but didn't find this was a problem on the coach.
The accommodation was what I expected from a budget, high-energy group trip, with a mixture of hotels, hostels and Contiki-run campsites. The Contiki Chateaux was a bit of a disappointment, with gender-shared toilets and showers, but we were given three meals a day, there was a pool, and places to charge our phones (which of course is a priority). I had no issues with any other of the hostels or hotels - we had private bathrooms everywhere we went, included breakfast and powerpoints. From my perspective, the hotel is simply a place to sleep anyway, so I wasn't fussed. Overall, I found that this trip was certainly value for money.
