As I said before, this trip had the perfect balance of inclusions and free time add ons. Our trip manager Susie and our driver Josh where absolutely amazing and I already cannot wait to go back to NZ! Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!

I feel that I saw a lot of the country and experienced the beauty of the culture. There weren’t too many travel days and I was able to fit in a lot of optional extras without missing out on group activities or feeling over tired. A good mix of high adventure and chill out time, and a great mix of people on the tour.

the tour was amazing and the scenery was breathtaking. the only thing to improve it would be to make the longer tour offered by Contiki should end it Queenstown. and spend the few extra days going down to go through and see the places visited after Queenstown.

I had a great time on this tour. Rae was a great trip manager and got everyone involved. My only complaint is that there were multiple tours on the bus, which meant people starting and finishing in different locations. I started the tour 3 or 4 days into the tour in Queenstown and it seemed like everyone has bonded already.

Great trip manager and driver, very diverse trip with a wide variety of activities. Got to tick off a lot of my bucket list items as well. Fell in love with New Zealand because of this trip!

Tour Itself was amazing and I don’t regret it! Met some amazing people, but the tour guide and driver ruined it for me

The trip leader seemed more keen to hang out with her boyfriend in Queenstown. Not only did we not manage to see her but she also forgot to book activities for certain people on the tour. In Franz Josef it was even more of a coincidence that a group of her best friends just happened to be staying at the same place we were at. Moving onto the genuine lack of knowledge she had of New Zealand. I feel I could have just googled the places we were staying at and got more of an in-depth analysis, although it was great to hear from Lucy that every place was “chill”. I guess now it’s on to the bus driver. Well where do I begin? From speeding to drinking the night before driving the bus to making inappropriate comments to the women on the trip to making me get my own bags out of the bus, this guy was by far the most inappropriate and unprofessional person I have ever met. The way he carried on and created drama really affected my trip and make it extremely awkward and uncomfortable. The trip itself was fine, the people in charge were a disgrace. I will not be booking through contiki ever again. Cheers

Some of the places we stayed at were really shabby with no air conditioning. The included activities weren’t good. The add ons were fantastic however.
