Lake Tekapo
Later, we'll stop off to see the inense milky blue waters of glacially-fed Lake Tekapo, before travelling back through the MacKenzie Country to our final destination.
Christchurch
Much of this beautiful city was destroyed in 2011 as well as lives lost when a 6.3 magnitude earthquake shattered everything, yet today Christchurch is experiencing a resurgence to it's former glory. As we pull in (insert sad face) there's sure to be some sadness, but memories of your New Zealand adventure will put smiles on faces for many years to come.

I absolutely loved the Big Tiki Tour! Never having done anything like this before it was a great way to kick off my travelling adventures with the greatest of people and a spectacular place!

Very expensive on the hold activities and going out for dinner. So mean activities to do and very expensive to do the activities as well. Some Accommodation was not as great at ALL. When I did Another Contiki in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia about 4 years ago the accommodation was a lot better. Then the Big Tiki accommodation in New Zealand that I had done now. Thank you Jesse.

The tour was a good pace and I rarely thought we stayed too long in places. I felt there were very few included activities and a lot were based on doing the optional activities or making our own entertainment (difficult in very small towns). Although nice to have a large group to travel round will, having the modular tour was quite disruptive to the group and made it difficult for people joining later to integrate

A perfect time of the year to go if you want a little bit of everything weather. While some of the commutes were long, they were always enjoyable with the beautiful scenery. The trip itself included some amazing activities that gave the trip an extra bit of flare!

Loved contiki, very inclusive but being a modular tour made it hard to get to know everyone.

The trip met all our expectations. We wanted to see all of New Zealand and this trip allowed us to do so. We got to see lots of sites and were given many opportunities through the extras

Contiki obviously takes the time to pick the tour guide and bus driver because Bryce Steel and John Massingham were top blokes who went out of their way to make my contiki experience amazing! Great value and great guides ??
