From boutique breweries to hiking trails, here are some of the best things to do in Byron Bay.
1. Walk to the iconic Cape Byron Lighthouse
If you’ve ever thought about a trip to Byron Bay before, you’ve likely come across a bunch of tourist’s happy snaps of the Cape Byron Lighthouse. The popular 3.7km loop takes you through leafy green palms, past stunning lookouts and up to the lighthouse for unforgettable views. It’s considered one of the best things to do in Byron – plus, it’s a rite of passage for any visitor.
2. Sample gin in the Cape Byron distillery
On a Macadamia Farm in the Byron hinterland, this tin and timber shed distillery is the perfect addition to your itinerary. Stop in at the cellar door for a taste of the boutique gins and cocktails on offer.
3. Swim in Minyon Falls
Take on the four-hour Minyon Loop Walking Track or head straight for the Minyon Grass picnic area to reach the base of this beautiful waterfall and plunge pool.
