Splendour in the Grass just happened for the 16th year in a row and we’re not quite sure what to do with ourselves. Without doubt one of the best music & arts festivals in the country, it was held in North Byron Bay parklands, Australia. And of course once again Splendour totally #nailedit. These were some of our fave moments from the weekend…
Sunshine & sweet acts all day, everyday
With plenty of sunshine, good vibes and a killer line-up to match, the main amphitheatre stage had us rocking out to some of the best acts to date from the likes of The Avalanches (after taking a 16 year break), The Cure’s crazy three-hour set, Flume’s mind-blowing closing act of the night, plus heaps more.

The Very Small Suburb
We all know these days, camping can get pretty tough. In comes the Very Small Suburb, perfect for those looking to get the best hair, beauty, fashion & tasty noms. Yes, there’s even an Aveda lifestyle salon & Rimmel Room to keep you looking fresh-faced and Insta ready.

The mini colour festival over at Marigold Majestic
For the first time ever in Splendour history, there was a colour party. Inspired by our new trip to India, Eternal India, the Marigold Majestic stage was everything we could have imagined and more. Fitted out with yoga workshops, hip-hop Bollywood performances and of course, our very own recreation of Holi festival that saw 200+ festival goers unite in a sea of colour.

For those looking to dabble in something arty or just mend their festival threads, the free craft area was hands down the best place to be offering up glitter and body bedazzle workshops.

Mr Poopie
Everybody poops and everybody likes Ice cream. Coincidence? Nope. Mr Poopie is an infamous poop emoji that resembles an edible ice cream. The art group behind this create public art and clothing known as Cool Shit specialising in making big, playful things inspired by internet pop culture.
