She can taste what’s out there, with nowhere to go. She searches for nature-inspo and stumbles across Northern Ireland. She hears the traffic outside her window and feels the chaos of city life from within her current confines.

The Giant’s Causeway and Dunluce Castle light up on her phone. They captivate and pull her in. She can almost taste the salt from the Irish sea, feel the whip of the wind against her face. There’s something both majestic and encompassing about the scenes of Northern Ireland and Danae’s love and lust for travel immediately transports her to the place she so longs to go.

And the mighty mountains

It’s time to head to the Northern Irish mountains; a place to prepare for hikes, solitude from city life, and magical views for days. Danae explores the famed Mourne Mountains in County Down, in the south east of Northern Ireland.

Through the rolling green hills

Time to reduce the altitude, whilst keeping the views. Danae heads next to the Belfast Hills to soak in the surroundings and enjoy the best of Northern Irish nature. She’s on the edge of Belfast city but all she can hear is running water from the streams nearby. Idyllic!
