My name is Maggie and I'm a travelholic. There, I said it. And it didn't just happen overnight either (my love of travel, not my admittance of an obsession!). I've always been fascinated by anything travel related. When I was about 3 or 4, my parents would take me to the airport to see the planes take off and land. See, fascinated. I wasn't even getting on the plane! It was just so mesmerising to see this great mechanical beast speed down the runway and head for the skies in search of a different land where new cultures thrive and people exist, just like in Australia. Crazy! Fast forward many years later and I am hopping on those great mechanical beasts and taking off for those exotic lands. I am looking to learn, experience, eat and indulge - my thirst for new lifestyles has led me to all sorts of places. It was on one of those adventures that I discovered my other addiction. Photography. I just felt so comfortable holding a camera and capturing all of those beautiful landscapes, landmarks and people. And it made for a great way to remember those trips! So what do you do when you combine your two loves? Travel photography! Today, I'm a regular traveller who takes her trusty camera and plans getaways quite often. Out of all of the places that I have travelled to, I found myself drawn to the French culture the most and wanted to immerse myself in it. So I decided to take a French course (truthfully, I'm still taking the French course) and here I am! Come join me on my many adventures and see where I've been, hear about what I've eaten and learn some new French words along the way!
