Raise your hand if you’ve ever felt personally victimised by your 9-5 grind. Trust me you aren’t the only one. Women worldwide are chasing the ultimate dream - combining work and travel.
Gracing the headlines of CNBC International, Elite Daily and Forbes: 2 girls, 27.2k followers on Instagram and a community of 40,000 women strong. Cassie and Shay – the girls behind the Bucketlist Bombshells are creating the ultimate girl gang. So, what are they all about?
They both quit their 9-5’s in November 2014 and booked one-way flights to Mexico, with nothing but their laptops, hopes and dreams. There they began the dream pursuit of many – the digital nomad life. They envisioned a life in which their flourishing online businesses would allow them to work full-time and travel the world simultaneously – and boy did they succeed. Two months on the hustle and they were making full-time incomes, entirely remotely.
Adding to their success they’ve ticked off all the bucket-list items they first set out to achieve, including: living la dolce vita in Italy, being elephant caretakers in Thailand and experiencing the equinox at Chichen Itza. This is all whilst running three killer online business: an online virtual assistant company, a boutique graphic design studio and an educational platform for online courses.
Inspired by all the women out there who would love to follow in their footsteps, they created the Bucketlist Bombshell Academy. Sharing their wisdom with women worldwide. Now the focus for the girls is their online courses centring around sought-after online skills in the areas of design, tech and online business skills. With online Bucketlist Bombshell inspired businesses popping up in masses – the success stories coming out of this community are truly inspiring.
Not only are they leading the next generation of independent women, they are also giving back. A portion of their profits are donated to the women at the Kopila Valley School in Nepal – using empowerment and education as a tool to conquer social and economic barriers.
Are these chicks #GIRLBOSSES or what?!
