If 2017 were summed up in one food it would be avocado. But all good things must come to an end and we have a sneaky suspicion that the humble spread, peanut butter, is ramping up to be the biggest food trend of 2018.
Peanut butter is great; it has a heap of protein and good fats (assuming you’re eating the natural kind with no added junk), but most importantly, it’s delicious. How do we know it’s going to be the ~food of the year~ (or flavour might be more accurate)? Well all signs on the internet point to yes: our newsfeeds are chock full of nutty buttery recipes or viral videos and every dessert menu we look at lately has a peanut butter item for the eating!
Obvs you’ll want some peanut butter action for yourself, so we’ve rounded up some of our favourite PB eats from around the world:

There are a few places you probably won’t be able to indulge your peanut butter obsession though, and they include Europe’s hottest countries Italy, France and Spain. It’s quite hard to find in these places, and if you ask for it you’ll be met with confused looks… they just don’t dig it for some reason. More for us hey?
