Australia voted yes
Following a long running campaign for marriage equality in Australia, more than 12.7 million people across the country voted yes to legalise gay marriage in a landslide victory, followed by celebrations as only Australian’s can. It’s the beginning of a new era for Oz, and we’re 100% behind it. Love wins again!

Pandas are no longer extinct
Animal lovers, unite! Arguably the most cuddly looking creatures on the planet are here to stay for a while longer. As a species at risk of extinction, huge efforts from local conservationists have meant that Pandas are no longer on the brink of extinction. It’s welcome news for the worlds threatened wildlife, and it most definitely proves that communities coming together in a commitment to preserving the worlds biodiversity can make a huge difference.
Stranger things got a season 2
This year we started the countdown and prepared for the upside down once again, as everyone’s favourite TV show ‘Stranger Things’ got a season 2. Being able to get lost in these exciting plot lines and feast our eyes on the 70’s swag has been a welcome distraction from, well…everything else.
