Fall being one of the shoulder seasons offers a great opportunity to admire the surrounding landscapes with thinner crowds, allowing you to walk around without bumping into too many people. At the same time, you should know that it does get colder by mid-October, so before you head out on your hike be prepared with warm clothes and some rain gear.
