On your way to enjoy some Vietnamese highlights soon? Check out our list of the 15 best Vietnamese souvenirs to take home with you.
1. Conical hats
A classic Vietnamese souvenir, these hats (Nón Lá in the local language) are ubiquitous. Often made out of palm leaves, they can be found pretty much anywhere in the country, from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang. Try to buy the natural version, rather than a plastic imitation.
They’re great in the rain, and on hot days the palm leaf version ones can be dipped in cool water to help with the scorching sun. A real symbol of Vietnam, and also one of the cheapest things you can buy in the country.
