Your teachers will encourage you to expand your palette by trying the spicy foods of Asia and the seafood of Oceania, twist your tongue learning local languages from real local people, or take your interest in fashion and discover Swahili garments and Lao textiles. There’s a lot to learn in a classroom, but there’s even more to learn out there on this great big planet we call home. So, instead of walking the hallowed halls of Oxford or Harvard in pursuit of this knowledge, why not stroll down the bustling streets of Seoul, cruise along the glittering Adriatic Sea, or conduct your wildlife studies in the South African plains?
