Let me introduce myself. My name is Dan Paddock, currently 24 years of age from a city called Stoke-on-Trent (I know you've not heard of it) I’ve always had a passion for travelling but being the introvert that I am, I never had the confidence to do such a thing. This was until October 2016 when I went away abroad on my own for the first time. To do this, I went on a Contiki trip around Italy for 12 days. As much as the thought of this was exciting it was also absolutely terrifying at the same time, I mean I’m going to exploring a country that I’ve always wanted to visit but I have to socialise with other humans. Not my strongest characteristic. It turns out that this was one of the best decisions of my life so far. It completely fuelled my passion for travel, like pouring petrol onto a fire. Thats the level we’re talking here. Since then I’m constantly looking at the new places to go and how to do them as cheaply as possible, which I think is key to having a great time in a new place. I try to write with a but of sense of humour added in, I think its important to general life.
