This month the Eastern Japanese town of Kawazu has been transformed into a mist of pretty pink petals as cherry blossom season arrives. Known for its magnificent 8,000 blossom trees, the village welcomes spring before most of its neighbouring towns. These blossoms or 'sakura', usually bloom in late March or early April, but the magical Japanese village is infamous for its early flurry of beauty.
The picture perfect town plays home to an annual Cherry Blossom Festival, attracting around 1million budding nature enthusiasts, plus a whole heap of insta shots - and boy have they delivered. Take a look for yourselves...
