On the 24th of February 2017, four good friends from Sydney, Australia, will embark on a unique motorcycle adventure through India. An adventure for a cause. A Ride for Rights. An Indian Odyssey.
Their goal? To raise awareness of the plight of millions of underprivileged Indian children, and through this, raise financial support. The primary method of achieving this is by creating a documentary of their journey, focusing on their experiences with the children. And if this doesn't quite explain it, the video below will undoubtedly give you some kind of feels...
As a company who live for empowering other like-minded travellers, we wanted to help the boys spread awareness of this cause, so we interviewed Cameron Perry (25), Scottie Grills (25), Taylor Hogan (25) and Videographer, Ben Butcher (21). Here’s what they had to say…
Growing up in Sydney, we’ve been fortunate to live in an environment that is active in supporting the next generation. Whilst we’ve all been impacted in our own profound ways, we believe that collectively, we can make a difference. And now is the time. But there was one significant moment that really made this all come to life…
"During my first trip to India, I got to witness the smiles and positivity in the lives of so many children. Despite many unfortunate circumstances being faced, their energy and drive for life left me with a desire to capture this and share it with others. I dreamt to inspire people to share this experience and to see that happiness in any circumstance changes lives. After partnering with an amazing NGO in India called CRY (Child Rights and You) and working with their programs to restore child rights, we hope to make an impact and create change to help support the lives of these children..." - Cameron Perry, 25
With our campaign, you can donate towards our project and take part in this journey with us. We’re aiming to raise funding for the production of the documentary and provide financial support for CRY to expand their charitable services. And you know what, we need your help. We can’t do this alone.”
And just in case you were wondering why there aren’t four of them in this pic? Taylor Hogan lives in Byron Bay and couldn’t make it for the shoot, but here’s the fourth and final member of this incredible Indian odyssey…
