Sardinia, Italy

Sardinia is the second-largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. It’s a special place as here there are villages of people who are over 100-years-old, known as centenarians. By eating Sardinian food and keeping a healthy lifestyle, they’ve been able to live a long and healthy life, and the episode digs deeper into the super-healthy way of living. The bonus part for us is not only seeing Zac embracing the Italian culture, but also how he experiences the local Italian lifestyle, history and buildings all at once.

Lima, Peru

Head south to learn about Peru’s natural biodiversity. Zac and Darin dive deep into superfoods and… engineered potatoes, of all foods! We all know that Peru has so much more to offer – from Machu Picchu to amazing foods and culture but it’s also an amazing place for active wellness. There are tons of things to do in Lima like sandboarding, surfing and enjoying pisco sours on the beach, of course.

If you’re thinking of heading to Puerto Rico, the island is absolutely gorgeous, with beaches, jungles, waterfalls and some really amazing food – you can expect a completely different culture from the United States.
