Zac Efron has been peak at basically every age. Dreamy non threatening teen dream, college age swoony, muscley late 20 something, and now…this. pic.twitter.com/hEKrQqvRQZ

Iceland is dedicated to living a more sustainable life. 100% of their electricity is created through renewable resources, such as hydro and geothermal. One of the amazing results from Iceland’s sustainability efforts is the famous Blue Lagoon. If you’re visiting Iceland, the Blue Lagoon is a MUST! France
Not only is Paris known as the City of Love, but did you know it’s also the water capital of the world? Paris has worked hard to provide clean water to the public. There are over 700 drinkable water fountains, including a few sparking water ones, located throughout the city. Next time you visit Paris, download the WeTap app – allowing you to take advantage of drinkable water while on the go. Not only is it free to the public, but it’s also a great way to cut down on your plastic bottle consumption while travelling. Oh and you also won’t want to miss this episode as it opens with a water tasting featuring Zac and his bestie Anna Kendrick. Swoon.

Costa Rica
Known for its stretching rainforests and diverse wildlife, it’s no surprise that Costa Rica is on Down to Earth with Zac Efron‘s list. Zac and Darin spend time in a small eco-village that manages their environmental footprint to reduce waste. After watching the episode you’ll probs want to add this country to your list pronto – just imagine yourself ziplining through the treetops in Costa Rica.

Sardinia, Italy
Sardinia is the second-largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. It’s a special place as here there are villages of people who are over 100-years-old, known as centenarians. By eating Sardinian food and keeping a healthy lifestyle, they’ve been able to live a long and healthy life, and the episode digs deeper into the super-healthy way of living. The bonus part for us is not only seeing Zac embracing the Italian culture, but also how he experiences the local Italian lifestyle, history and buildings all at once.
I very much relate to Vittoria, this Sardinian bread maker who knows what she likes.

Lima, Peru
Head south to learn about Peru’s natural biodiversity. Zac and Darin dive deep into superfoods and… engineered potatoes, of all foods! We all know that Peru has so much more to offer – from Machu Picchu to amazing foods and culture but it’s also an amazing place for active wellness. There are tons of things to do in Lima like sandboarding, surfing and enjoying pisco sours on the beach, of course.

Puerto Rico
This beautiful island is found in the Caribbean and is part of the United States of America. After Hurricane Maria in 2017, Puerto Rico aimed to come back stronger and rebuild its country with the help of sustainability. Zac and Darin explore San Juan and this country’s amazing resilience. If you’re thinking of heading to Puerto Rico, the island is absolutely gorgeous, with beaches, jungles, waterfalls and some really amazing food – you can expect a completely different culture from the United States.

London, United Kingdom
London is one of the European cities in Netflix’s Down to Earth with Zac Efron that is doing a ton of work to reduce their pollution. Since the 1950s, London has worked hard to overcome levels of high pollution from across the city. By implementing solutions such as the implementation of congestion charge zone, living green walls, trash collection, the city vows to improve the air quality for their citizens.
Today, London is one of the top destinations to visit in Europe. If you’re planning on visiting the city, there are plenty of other cool things to do. Take a walk across the city to tick off amazing sites such as the Tower Bridge, London Eye and Buckingham Palace.

New York City, USA
Being a big city, pollution is something New York City constantly works to overcome. Zac and Darin spend time in a beekeeper’s rooftop green space to learn how they are helping the environment in New York City’s concrete jungle. If you’re visiting NYC, take a break from the city bustle to wander through some of the city’s green spaces such as Central Park or The High Line.
