Where you stay - Time Out / Superior / Hotel Tours
Last Updated: 14th May 2012

Contiki has chosen a wide range of accommodation in order for you to best appreciate what Europe has to offer. From a magnificent 4-star resort in Vienna, Austria, to a charming, medieval Chateau near Lyon, France – you’ll travel Europe in style.
All are Superior/Time Out hotels are of excellent standard and are often centrally located. Wile our special resort hotels have been chosen for their particular character, charm, location and style.
Please bear in mind the diversity and cultural differences seen almost every day in Europe as these differences can also be seen where you stay. While some clients enjoy the older style hotels, others enjoy a more modern design and our accommodation list offers a good balance of each style to suit everyones tastes.
It’s difficult not to compare European hotels with the similar category of hotel at home or on another continent. Generally speaking though, European hotels are of a slightly lower standard than their equivalents in North America, Australasia or South Africa. European hotels sometimes tend not to have modern amenities such as air-conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, etc.
Where you stay is one of the main differences between tour styles offered by Contiki in Europe.

All contracts for your accommodation are negotiated by Contiki many months in advance. There may be times when hotels will provide alternative accommodation to that which is listed in your itinerary. Such situations are beyond Contiki’s control and we will do our utmost to minimize any inconvenience.
Superior Tourist Class Hotels are used throughout Europe for our Time Out/Superior/Hotel Tours.
PLEASE NOTE: The following are just a sample of some of the many hotels Contiki uses throughout Europe and although those shown are a good representation, they are by no means a definitive list of all our contracted hotels. There is no guarantee that every tour will stay in the lodgings listed below. Check your Contiki Travel Documents for confirmation of your accommodations.

Hi all… ok so don’t know if this is the right section to ask this question however it has to do with the hotels. Now are there laundry’s in most of our hotels that we can do some washing? do they have driyer’s? and would we have to bring along our own washing powder? stupid questions but not really sure.. i’m doing the 18 day European Impressions in Aug 2011.
Thanks :)
