This dream cat caretaking gig will be a minimum six-month position, so it’s perfect for people who prefer cats over humans and can see animals in their future. Of course, you’ll have to do a spot of volunteering initially to see how you and the kitties vibe together.
In addition to chilling out and relaxing with a few dozen cats every day, you’ll have your accommodation paid for in a small modern house with both its own garden and a view of the Aegean sea. Oh, and a decent salary. The job requirement? Be a bonafide cat lover, and know how to drive a manual car. Veterinary experience is also a plus, but not mandatory.
As the job only requires 4 hours of working a day, you’ll have more than enough time to explore the island, which is laden with breathtaking panoramas and secluded wildlife spots. The island itself is the best of both worlds: tranquil and peaceful in the winter, and full of life when the tourists descend in the summer. If you enjoy (or can cope with) long-is swathes of solitude, this is deffo the job for you.
Think you’re perfect for the role? Dust off that CV and send it over to firstname.lastname@example.org ASAP – maybe even send over a cat selfie to prove your devotion. As far as jobs go, it genuinely doesn’t get any better than this.
