Have you ever wondered how the other half live? The lifestyles of people who choose to go down a different path? Like this one guy, Foster Huntington who decided he didn’t want to be a part of the rat race anymore, and live a completely stress free life. In a treehouse. Ohhh one can only dream.
In 2011, Foster Huntington made a decision that would change the course of his life. He quit his high paying job at Ralph Lauren and decided to go off the grid and live in a van, travelling around the USA.
Fast forward to 2015, and we can safely say he is living out his dream.
After 4 years of road tripping around the US in his van, Foster eventually settled down to a place he now calls home. His decision to go off grid and leave behind his old lifestyle has seriously paid off…
This guy now lives the ultimate dream by living in a treehouse. Yes. A treehouse that he built, high up in the trees, together with his friends. He has set himself up along the West coast of the USA near the Columbia River George (close to Washington DC) and lives on his own terms with absolutely no regrets.
His home is now some kind of fairytale with a tree house, skate park, and did we mention that ridiculously sweet backdrop (Imagine the sunset sessions he’ll have up there). How’s that for livin’ la vida loca?
This is real life.
‘The Cinder Cone’ is practically complete and consists of a series of treehouses in one compound, which includes a hot tub. A friggin’ hot tub!
