Storm Jonas hit the East Coast of the US in a big way over the weekend. But instead of hiding indoors under a duvet with a thermos of soup as we’d be inclined to do, Casey Neistat basically slayed the snow storm of all snow storms in the biggest way possible. How, you ask? By snowboarding through the streets of New York, naturally.
Accompanied by RoadTrip favourite Jesse Wellens of BFvsGF, Casey’s brother Dean Neistat and some killer drone footage, the crew saw the storm as an opportunity to create some YouTube gold, and the video has basically killed the internet since then, notching up 8.9 million views at last count.
I mean, snowboarding through Times Square proudly waving an American flag? Pure genius.

But perhaps the best bit of the whole video is right at the end, when the crew are pulled over by the cops. It was widely known that anyone caught out driving on the streets of New York (aside from emergency vehicles) could face prosecution, so when you hear those sirens ringing you think the games over. But oh no, for once the police were basically the coolest ever. So without further ado…
