Also located in the Stouffville area is the Applewood Farm and Winery. This location was used in the show as Herb Ertlinger ‘s Winery in Season 1 and 6. 7. Goodwood
Located in Uxbridge, Goodwood is a small community that is home to many Schitt’s Creek locations in Ontario. Over 30 towns in Ontario were scouted before Goodwood was chosen. Here you’ll find Café Tropical, Bob’s Garage, the Schitt House and Town Hall. Most of these spots are private residences, so the photo ops will be limited to the exterior of the building.
One exception to this is the Rose Apothecary, which is Romni Goodwood IRL. According to David, the Rose Apothecary is “…a general store, but it’s also a very specific store.” Unfortunately, this shop doesn’t sell an assortment of lotions and coffee, but a variety of wools and handcrafted goods including clothing, accessories and gifts. The owner of the shop also has some great stories of when the cast would film in her shop, perfect for any Schitt’s Creek fans out there!
