Bonjour Paris! What can we say, the release of Emily in Paris season 3 (yep, it’s back!) has given us major Parisian feels all over again. But why let Emily C have all the fun? We want to know the filming locations of Emily in Paris rapide, so we can visit these dreamy destinations ourselves! From the croissants and culture to the fashion and twinkling streets, Paris has won us over. Not to mention the dreamy St Tropez coastline in the South of France… which area makes it on your bucket list?
Le Café Marly
Looking for Emily In Paris film locations and in need of an espresso and croissant? Le Café Marly is the place for you to live the full French fantasy. Here is where Emily has lunch with Sylvie and Marley have lunch in some of the first scenes on Season 2! It’s a fab little stop off for bougie work lunches and cute catch-ups alike, in view of the Louvre’s iconic glass pyramid.

Villefranche-sur-Mer
After Emily begins to have second thoughts on her night of passion with Mathieu, she heads to St Tropez on the famous Orient Express train. Where she actually ends up is Villefranche, 75 miles east of St Tropez with more of a rural feel. But still, the sleepy seaside town offers unmatched natural beauty, plus the peace and quiet Emily probably needed, after spending most of her time in busy Paris.

Gare de Nord
Emily catches the Orient Express with Mathieu from Gare de Nord, the famous train station in Paris. There’s a distinct feel of romance under the station’s neoclassical roof, where fated missed trains and long lost farewells have likely taken place. If you really want to trace Emily’s steps across the most beautiful places in France, you’ll start your travels in this iconic station.

Cimitiere Pere Lachaise
It might seem strange to go to a cemetery for lunch like Emily does in Season 2, but don’t knock it till you’ve tried it. Pere Lachaise is a spot of serenity and calm amidst the hustle and bustle of Paris.
It’s also where many famous people throughout history have been buried, from Oscar Wilde and Rossini, to legendary composer, Chopin. Head for a morning stroll through this cemetery while the birds are singing, the brisk air is mega calming. *sigh* Aren’t you glad you followed Emily like a stalker to Paris?

The Louvre Museum
We see this famous museum in Paris a lot in both Season 1 and 2, it’s near Jardin des Tuileries, the spot where Emily likes to take a morning jog (including in the first scene of S2.) The Louvre is also where you can see the Mona Lisa, Leonardo da Vinci’s famous oil painting. Would you visit on a trip to Paris?

Cafe Terra Nera
In other words, Gabriel’s restaurant, “Les Deux Compère”, where flavours and romance mingle. You can visit this Parisian bistro for real, it’s called Terra Nera in real life and they do a mean bowl of pasta. Sip wine with pals and feel like you’re living the luxury lifestyle in Emily C’s footsteps.

Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel
When Emily and Mathieu finally head to St Tropez for real after a dreamy short stay in Villefranche, they stay in the bougie Four Seasons hotel, Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat. When it comes to filming locations, it doesn’t often get better than this. With picturesque cliffs, historic lighthouse, and the sprawling Mediterranean Sea in the distance, it’s no wonder this is where many films have been shot in this historic hotel. That’s including Absolutely Fabulous – The Movie (2016), a must-watch after your Emily in Paris binge-a-thon.

Latin Quarter
Steps from Emily apartment at 1 Place de l’Estrapade in Paris is the Latin Quarter. She chose a great neighbourhood to live in because there’s so much to do in this area! Grab a chocolate croissant at Emily’s favourite spot, Boulangerie Moderne or explore the bookshops and the Panthéon. The picturesque square in the Latin Quarter is the perfect spot to dine with friends on the sidewalk at restaurants like Les Deux Compère, which is where Gabriel, Emily’s handsome neighbour worked as a chef.

Place de Valois
Emily’s marketing firm Savoir is located in the courtyard of Place de Valois in Palais Royal. Fans of the TV series will recognize the art gallery, Galerie Patrick Fourtin, which is right beside the entrance to Savoir’s office.
Jardin du Palais Royal
Within walking distance of Savoir, you’ll find Jardin du Palais Royal. This small public garden is where Emily met her new friend, Mindy on the park bench. It’s no wonder why Emily spent so much of her lunch breaks in this park. It’s a tranquil and beautiful spot, filled with fountains, hedge-lined walkways and flowers. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy Paris outdoors.

Pont Alexandre III
One of the more touristy filming locations from Emily in Paris is Pont Alexandre III. It’s where the Savoir films the risqué perfume ad for client Antoine Lambert. If you’re spending the day wandering the streets of Paris, this is a bridge you won’t want to miss. Pont Alexandre III is one of Paris’ most breathtaking bridge that is decorated with lamp posts and overlooks the Seine. It’s the perfect backdrop for any Insta photo during the day or at night.

Le Café de L’Homme
Savoir throws a fancy party for Antonie’s perfume launch at real-life restaurant Le Café de L’Homme. This spot has unobstructed views of the Eiffel Tower, which is breathtaking at night.
IRL this restaurant can be a tad pricey, so if you’re looking for another alternative, try Montparnasse Tower. The observation deck on the 56th floor has panoramic views of Paris, featuring the Eiffel Tower in the centre. It’s the perfect spot to view the city at night, and lucky for us it’s an included experience on most Contiki trips that visit Paris.

Place Dalida
Emily and Mindy wander the streets of Paris while they bid au revoir to Emily’s influencer life ending on one specific street. According to Mindy, this street was voted the prettiest street in Paris and translates to “the road that leads to the end.” Funnily enough all things do end well as Emily’s client Hästens asks her to sleep under the stars at that very spot.
IRL this spot is located at a square in Montmartre, Paris called Place Dalida, in between the intersection of Rue Girardon and Rue de l’Abreuvoir. Unfortunately, there won’t be a mattress here for you to sleep, but there are plenty of bistros, cafés and cobblestone streets for you to enjoy.

Atelier des Lumières
You may recall the awkward third-wheel date Emily experienced with Camille and Gabriel at a Van Gogh exhibit. Atelier des Lumières is a popular immersive art centre in Paris that uses light, sound and video, creating a different way for you to experience art. It’s one of the things to do in Paris you won’t want to miss if you’re into art, alongside visiting the Louvre Museum and Musée d’Orsay.

A French Château
Emily visits Camille’s family home in an effort to recruit her family’s champagne business as a new client for Savoir. She spends a beautiful weekend at a French Château in the Beaujolais wine region of France. The actual filming location is Château de Sonnay, however we’d recommend the Contiki Château. It’s recently renovated with fresh new decor and bedrooms. Plus, there’s loads of things to do like yoga, swimming and dancing the night away at ‘La Cave’.

Palais Garnier
This stunning filming location from Emily in Paris is where Emily goes to see Swan Lake. Palais Garnier is home to the Paris ballet and opera performances. However if you ask us, the grand staircase alone is worth the visit, which is where Emily breaks up with her love interest, Professor Thomas. You can visit Palais Garnier during the day for guided or self-guided tours of the building, which is part palace and part opera house. There’s also the gold and gold painted grand foyer, horseshoe-shaped auditorium and opera-library museum which you won’t want to miss.
